The Fearless in Fashion
The Fearless in Fashion is a non-profit organization that focuses on nurturing and fostering young women of color who want to break into the fashion industry
Tools to Succeed
Our goal is to mentor young people of color and socioeconomic backgrounds who want to start their career in fashion. We are a group of diverse young women of color seeking to educate young people who feel intimidated by the fashion industry because of the way they look or the way they grew up. We are sales reps, designers, production specialists and marketing gurus who all come from different walks of life, but share the same passion for fashion. We’re creating career development workshops, which will range from resume building, interview etiquette, fashion department education, how to navigate office politics, and much more!
Spreading the Word
We’re partnering with LA-based high schools, colleges and organizations to reach individuals who are interested in the fashion industry. If you’re interested in working with us, we’d love to hear from you!
“Fashion is a very tough industry. It shouldn't be tough emotionally, it should be rewarding with all the hard work and passion that goes into it. We want to increase the amount of women in color in the industry and decrease the fear of being in the industry.”
— Amanda M. Bernaudo, Founder of Fearless in Fashion
